P & D Sheet Metal was founded in Stockport just South of Manchester in 1979 and is now in its second generation being managed by Richard, the son of Paul the original founder.
Since Richard took over in 2008, the work the company undertakes has increased in variety a great deal. Although we still produce a lot of standardised high volume products to some of our clients, the majority of our workload consists of bespoke or singular items. As such we pride ourselves on being able to problem solve any new project, think on our feet and adapt to any new skill or technique required for the job.
At P and D Sheet Metal our dedicated staff have a real passion for sheet metal and general metalwork. We believe this is evident in the excellence we expect from every job we produce from the smallest piece for someone’s home to big industrial projects.
We also care about protecting metalworking skills for future generation. A few years ago we took on Ryan as an apprentice and through formal education and hands on experience has become a highly valued member of the team.
